The "Human Phenome Project" is another strategic high ground and original innovation source in the field of life sciences after the "Human Genome Project". It will draw the next generation navigation map to explore the mysteries of life, lead the paradigm shift in biomedical research, and drive the leapfrog development of precision medicine and the big health industry.

The 4th International Symposium of Human Phenomics & the 5th Human Phenomics Convention of China are scientific conferences that focus on the emerging field of human phenomics. The conferences serve as platforms for exchanging knowledge, fostering collaboration, and shaping the future of this exciting new area.

The International Symposium of Human Phenomics has been biennially held since 2016. Nearly 3000 representatives from over 30 countries and regions around the world participated in this academic event. In May 2016, the 1st International Symposium of Human Phenomics was successfully held in Shanghai. During the symposium, the "International Human Phenome Project" was unanimously recognized by scientists all over the world. In November 2018, the 2nd International Symposium of Human Phenomics was successfully completed in Shanghai. During the conference, the Human Phenome Consortium of China (HPCC) and the International Human Phenome Consortium (IHPC) were established. In October 2020, the 3rd Symposium of International Human Phenomics was held online, focusing on the priorities of research on human Phenome and the contribution to a global community of health for all in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic.

The Human Phenomics Convention of China has been held annually since 2019. 41 academicians and over 1000 experts and scholars from China participated in this academic event. In December 2019, the 1st Human Phenomics Convention of China was held in Nansha, Guangzhou. In October 2020, the 2nd Human Phenomics Convention of China and the 3rd Symposium of International Human Phenomics were held in Shanghai in a synchronized online and offline. In September 2021, the 3rd Human Phenomics Convention of China was held in Liangjiang New District, Chongqing. In September 2022, the 4th Human Phenomics Convention of China was successfully held in Changsha, Hunan, with the theme of "Phenomics and Individualized Diagnosis and Treatment", attracting domestic experts and scholars to jointly exchange the latest research results of phenomics and biomedical sciences, to explore the future development trends of life sciences and the health industry, and to seek future research directions and technological solutions for major human health issues.

In order to better promote the International Human Phenome Project, accelerate the paradigm change in the biomedical field, and help make new breakthroughs in Frontier Research of Phenomics, the 4th International Symposium on Human Phenomics & the 5th Human Phenomics Convention of China are about to be held from October 31st to November 4th , 2023 in Shanghai, China.
